Rockcliff U17s 5 – Seaton Carew U17s 31

A scratch Rockcliff side didn’t really get going as a team until the second half by which time Seaton Carew had racked up a 24-0 lead. Despite this there were some good individual performances from man of the match Dan Simpson, Mickey Ball, Michael Birkett and Dan Atkinson. The second half was much closer and Rockcliff scored a deserved try after good work by the pack set the backs free and Mickey Ball burst through from 30 metres out to score. Seaton Carew scored a late converted try to put the icing on the cake.
